The City of Tallmadge Planning and Zoning Department is currently seeking a Planning and Zoning Manager. 

Duties: The Planning and Zoning Manager directs the operation of the Planning and Zoning Department and enforcement of the Zoning Code: provides administrative support to the Director of Public Service in property inspection, planning and design; applies the principles and recommendations of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, the blueprint for land use and development strategies and decisions and supervises department employees.

Pay Scale:  $25.00- $35.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time

Required Education/Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in urban planning, civil engineering, public administration, or a related field. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in either a full or part time capacity in the fields of building construction, inspection or planning and zoning.
