The City of Tallmadge encourages residents to sign-up for the FREE CodeRED emergency alert system to receive critical communication notices issued for boil water advisories, evacuation notices, severe weather warnings, parking bans and many other incidences. Each user can customize his or her settings to receive alerts by telephone, email or text. CodeRED also allows mobile users to see any and all active alerts issued in Tallmadge, Ohio through the FREE app. To sign-up to receive to alerts, follow these instructions:

1. Visit the website at tallmadge-ohio.org/coderedsignup 
2. Enter your contact information
3. Enter any additional information
4. Select the type of alerts you want
   to receive
