Are you interested in helping improve cycling in the City of Tallmadge? Then join Mayor Kline, AMATS and other City officials on September 22 for a 5.6-mile loop on the road through the city. The Bike-N-Brainstorm will include a bike ride and brainstorming session to gather feedback on improving cycling in the City of Tallmadge. Mayor Kline will be leading the 5.6-mile bike ride that will leave at 9 AM from Tallmadge City Hall. From there the group will head north on Route 91 to Howe Road with multiple stops including the Freedom Trail and Rec Center. The ride will return to City Hall and end with a brainstorming session. If you are interested in participating, please arrive at City Hall for registration at 8:30 AM. Those with a bicycle are welcome to attend! This event is not just for residents.AMATS developed Bike-N-Brainstorms six years ago as public outreach tools to engage cyclists with the aim of improving the Greater Akron area’s biking infrastructure. More than 450 cyclists have participated in 12 Bike-N-Brainstorms from 2012 through 2018. AMATS continues to partner with local communities to encourage cycling as an active transportation option.
