Ordinance 10-2019:

The Tallmadge Council expresses its intent to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit municipal personal property by internet auction in calendar year 2019.

This notice states that the sales shall be conducted by the Director of Public Service or his designee under the following terms and conditions:

Internet markets, including but not limited to eBay, may be utilized.  Fees for this service shall be negotiated.

The minimum number of days for bidding on property shall be no less than fifteen including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.

The Director of Public Service may conduct the auction directly or may negotiate with a representative to conduct the auction.

The Mayor is authorized to sign any documents necessary to establish the procedures if a representative is used.

The terms of sale shall be cash or certified funds prior to or upon delivery.

A minimum price shall be established for specific items.  Other terms and conditions of the particular sale may be established, including requirements for pick-up or delivery, method of payment, and sales tax.

Ordinance 11-2019:

The Tallmadge Council expresses its intent to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit motor vehicles and equipment by auto auction in calendar year 2019.

This notice states that the sales shall be conducted by the auto auction under the approval of the Director of Public Service or his designee under the following terms and conditions:

The auto auction representative fees must be less than those used to participate in an internet only auction.

The auto auction will utilize internet to advertise auction.

The Director of Public Service must have prior legislation approval for any motor vehicle to be included in the auction.

The Mayor is authorized to sign any documents necessary to permit a representative to be used.

The terms of sale shall be cash or certified funds prior to or upon delivery.

A minimum price shall be established for specific items.  Other terms and conditions of the particular sale may be established, including requirements for pick-up or delivery, method of payment, and sales tax.

Ordinance 62-2019:

Expressing intent to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit equipment, tractor accessories, miscellaneous tools, pipes, and vehicle accessories by Edinburg Auction in calendar year 2019.

Utilizing Edinburg Auction combines live auction with an internet-based auction capability at a lower cost to the City.


Ordinance 63-2019:

Declaring certain City-owned vehicles and vehicle accessories to be excess and authorizing the Director of Public Service to sell such equipment at public sale or trade-in.

The following City-owned vehicles and accessories are hereby declared to be excess equipment not needed for any municipal purpose:
