The Tallmadge Historical Society was established March 24, 1858, in the Old Town Hall located at the southwest corner of the Circle and South Avenue. That was the organizational meeting of what is now the oldest historical society in the State of Ohio.
The Purpose of the Tallmadge Primetimers is to provide recreation and fellowship for men and women of Tallmadge and others over the age of 50. Meetings, including programs and business sessions, are scheduled for the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month, except when such date falls on a holiday or when the Executive Committee deems it advisable to change the day or place of the meeting. Membership is required for full participation in activities. Tallmadge residents are always welcome to join. Contact Joanne at 330-633-5610 for more information.
