City CouncilCity Council is the legislative branch of municipal government. The responsibilities of council are adopting laws, establishing policies, and authorizing the expenditure of the city's finances. As elected officials, we not only appreciate any input from our constituency, but we anticipate it. Many of our decisions are based on information that we receive from the citizens of Tallmadge. The council business meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month and the committee meetings are held on the Monday preceding each business meeting. Public input is encouraged at each committee meeting. The Council Office and Council Chambers are located on the upper floor of City Hall, 46 North Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278. The council office is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
